Long Run

A week ago my ego would be embarrassed to post a run like this. Or at least I would make a joke about it. But not being able to do anything more right now is incredibly humbling. I was loving the training, the fast tempo days, long runs, it just gave such a huge self confidence boost. And then outta nowhere this knee thing pops up. It’s taking everything in my power to not just rip 800mg of IBU, hit a long run, and shred my knee to bits. 

Being forced to rest has been the hardest part of my training so far. It taught me to not take my health for granted and that I need to focus on that just as much as I do all my watch stats. 

Anyway, I think it’s time for me to hit the pool and pivot for now. I still got goals to hit

Sorry for the sappyness mixed with the David goggins-esk BS. Just wanted to vent to my 10 Strava followers lmao
