All the besties are skiing in NM the ONE TIME im out of the state

The heavy rain felt amazing, especially when it got super heavy (my favorite), but then the lightning came. Turns out being in the middle of a golf course in the central hills of Texas, where the trees aren’t too tall, with a ring of wire around your head, is a bad idea. Anyway would’ve ran the other half of the country club but started heading back to be safe. Party’s over

I’ve been working long shifts the past few weeks and got switched to second in the middle of last week, but I think my body finally adapted.

David Roche uses the term “stress limited athlete” to describe those who, due to work/ family obligations, don’t have the time for two sessions in a day. I like this term

Apparently Nick Bare lives in Austin Texas, I didn’t know that. Maybe I’ll go for a run with him before I leave (he has no idea who I am)

I came up with a banger resolution for this year on this run that actually made sense as a sort of “better than yesterday” thing instead of some silly abrupt change you drop after a month. It was honestly kind of important but I forget what it was. Hope I do it by mistake. Also had several other epiphanies… which I also forget. It’s crazy how running really jogs the brain 

To those who thought me illiterate, you’re not gonna believe this. Especially Colin Graham . I started reading in my downtime due to certain circumstances. It’s kinda hype I forgot how awesome reading is. Writing is also kind of sick too, might just get used to this
