Holy cow this was a very very difficult day. The circumstances could not have been worse. I didn’t get home till 1 AM this morning after Thanksgiving. So, I got five hours of sleep before doing this. I also haven’t hiked anything in 10 days. We also got 3 feet of snow back there, and guess who broke all of it out? oh and I snapped one of my trekking poles only 5 miles into the hike. This was the definition of a type today, but we got it done! December will be my hardest month yet, but it’s the final boss.
