Shoutout Dan(?) the mystery man who saved this ride for Nils Maag. Pulled off to the side of the road at pitch black 6 am and graciously offered a tube when we needed it most. That little act of selflessness turned the day from a brutal disappointment into an incredible experience.

Started off with a couple unfortunate flats and the crew moved on while I stayed with Nils. After our savior Steezus ‘Dan’ Christ blessed us with a tube, it was heads down in the blistering cold all the way from Tam High to Pt Reyes to rendezvous with the squad. When I say cold, I’m talking frozen leg hairs cold. When the crew regained feeling in our fingers/toes, we took off for Wild Flour and the ride switched to absolute perfection for all 100 remaining miles.

Special shoutout to route master Pedro Pinheiro-Chagas for putting this one together 🫡 this was an all time ride. Even bigger things coming soon 👀
